i'm not quite sure how this post slipped through the cracks, but with this incredible whirlwind of travels almost a year ago already, i figured it's time to share.
last november i was given a most incredible opportunity to shoot for local italian favourite, enoteca sociale. the restaurant was undergoing a major overhaul on their website and i graciously accepted the chance to shoot the content, along for the ride with chefs rocco and kris while they explored the streets (and eats) of rome. i wasn't there long (36 hours, to be exact), but i managed to capture a little of the city's magic.
...and consume both coeliac-friendly reeeeeal italian pasta (!!) and fistfuls of gelato. :)
the site (expertly put together by my pals at sovereign state) is now up and running and my photos can be seen on the home page with a few more on their blog. i also shot at the restaurant when upon returning home and these photos are being featured in their newsletter and on recipe cards served up with the patron's bill at the end of the meal.
